As of Zeaxanthin, Lutein is also a part of macular pigment. Lutein is also a carotenoid having antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It is found in the macula of your eyes along with Zeaxanthin.

Lutein and Zeaxanthin both have the same structures with just a small difference in the arrangement of their atoms.
